Get set for a special and super Chinese New Year this year with 8TV Channel , as the new Season of Malaysia's most popular singing competition in the Chinese POP scene - Project Superstar is back on our TV screens yet again !
Going into it's third Season for three years running , it is set to debut on the third day of Chinese New Year this year on 8TV Channel ! It will be shown over the weekends at 8.30pm starting the weekend of 9 February 2008 ( Saturday ) . The first four Episodes which will run for two weekends , will showcase the various rounds of Auditions being held all across Malaysia , in search of Malaysia's next best singing talents and how the gems of the crop made it to the utimiate Top 24 , taking their singing career a step closer to be one of the potential soon - to be New Season's Superstar Champion .

Hosted by Gary Yap and Cheryl Lee , the 1st Quarterfinal Elimination round is expected to start on 23 February 2008 onwards , with the LIVE Results Show being shown on Sundays at 10pm on 8TV Channel starting 24 February 2008 onwards .
