Sneak Peek To S POP Mega Concert !

Two years ago , we had a Superstar Concert at the end of the year featuring all the Project Superstar idols from the first Season of the popular singing competition such as Winner Kelvin Tan Wei Lian , Kelly Poon , Derrick Low , Hong Junyang etc ! Although this year , there will not be any Project Superstar Concert for the second Season Superstar idols , there will be , however , a 4 hours Mega Concert featuring not only the Second Season Project Superstars Contestants , but also the first Season Contestants of Project Superstars as well as the first and second Season of Campus Superstars Contestants too ! Not only that , your familar and favourite Project Superstar judges such as Roy Li Fei Hui , Xu Huan Liang , Li Wei Song etc will also take to the stage to sing and perform for us !

Yes , and it certainly doesn't come any bigger than this ! And it's all happening starting today and next Monday ( at 7pm on Channel U ) ! In celebration of our local Mandarin Music Industry and the various honours we have achieved in this area over the years , past and present veteran local songwriters and singers will get together for a Mega Concert lasting 4 hours on S Pop Hurray !

In this Mega Concert , hear the popular songs from the 60s , 70s , 80s and 90s that were written and sung by our local famous songwriters , singers and composers that were household names from then even till now ! U will not only get to see your favourite past and present idols such as Deng Mao Hua , Eric Moo , Meng Fei Chuan , JJ Lin perform , u will get to know and learn the rich history of our local music industry , and all the various incidents that have happened in the past till who and what they are today ! A rare opportunity too where past and present stars can get together to share the insights to some of the things u probably didn't know about your favourite veterans Stars of yesteryear !

If Star Awards 25 Years of Drama Special on Sunday , 9 December 2007 is a trip down memory lane for our local Drama industry for Channel 8 , then S POP Hurray Mega Concert is the Channel U ' s version for our local music industry ! A rare congregation of past and present veteran local singers and songwriters not to be missed !
