Catch ' Wounded Tracks ' - 伤城记 at 10.30pm on Channel 8 Tonight ! Featuring Li Nanxing in this 1995 local Telemovie which won him the ' Best Actor ' Award in that year's Star Awards !
Synopsis :
A Singaporean Interpol agent Xu Le (Li Nanxing) is sent to Hong Kong to investigate a counterfeit syndicate when fake US money is smuggled into Singapore.
In Hong Kong, Xu Le joins up with the Hong Kong CIA. Disguised as a Taiwanese buyer, Xu Le prepares to meet with the counterfeit ring’s Big Boss (Xu Shao Qiang).
In order to meet with the Big Boss, they have to go through Sharon (Lan Jie Ying), who is the ring’s intermediary. When Xu Le meets Sharon, he is intrigued by her charm and charisma, and is convinced that she is a special woman. Xu Le wonders why she is working for the syndicate and believes there must be a reason behind it.
TT, the agent working on the case for Hong Kong, warns Xu Le that Sharon is dangerous and cautions him to stay away from her because it could cost him his life.
Sharon sets up a meeting between Xu Le and Big Boss, where Xu Le is able to win his trust. All is set to proceed with the deal when Sharon reveals Xu Le’s identity…
