It's the Euro 2008 Qualifiers - top European teams are all fighting for crucial places to next year's summer soccer showpiece Event in Austria & Switzerland and yet with so many big games set to take place tonight , especially at 2.30am timeslot , only one game is being shown LIVE on Starhub Cable . Why ?
A look at the Fixture list and u will see some high profile big games such as a repeat of last year's World Cup Final - Italy vs France , as well as the all Scandivian showdown between Sweden & Denmark being played at 2.30am in which the match was called off with the match at 3-3 after a Danish fan attacked the referee . UEFA later awarded a 3-0 victory in Sweden favour in that fiery First Leg encounter back in June .
Instead , despite with so many Euro 2008 Qualifiers matches being played tonight , only England vs Israel match was being televised LIVE ( on Star Sports Channel 24 @ 12am . ) Although Wales vs Germany match would be shown LIVE ( on Super Sports Plus Channel 21 @ 2.30am ) as well , it is understood that besides those who have subscribed to this Channel can watch the match at home - those who don't may not be able to watch it at coffeeshops as most of them , ( as far as I know ) may not have that Channel .
Starhub has four Sports Channels in total , seven in total if u include Goal TV 1 & 2 as well as Football Channel in as well , but they are not showing any Euro matches LIVE tonight . Why can't they help show some of the bigger games LIVE ? Instead fans had to settle to watch games being telecasted Delayed instead !
Even Portugal Vs Poland - the match set to be shown Delayed at 4.30am tonight on Super Sports Plus Channel 21 , Indonesia RCTI Channel will be showing it LIVE tonight ! Certainly and understandably , Starhub subscribers are really disappointed with their arrangement and decisions not to show these Big games LIVE tonight .

Hi, I am also fan of soccer, but a poor fans. So I can only watch live match on RCTI, just like to check with you, where you got the information on which match they are showing? I search the website but can't seems to find....
I know which matches they are showing from their Channel adverisements . Sometimes during Halftime break , their commericial will say and after their Full Time match analyst , their studio soccer analysts will definitely tell us one ... !
RCTI is really a very good Channel , especially for soccer fans and soccer lovers . It's a pity they have everything except the EPL ! But for me , I am very glad that I have that Channel cos sometimes they show LIVE matches that Starhub Cable doesn't show , so that becomes LIVE & Exclusive !
