The genius duo, that’s what they’re known as. To most of the Malaysian public in 2005, they were unknown musicians that rocked the night at the Korea Stars Asean Tour showcase in KL . Made up of vocalist Kim Kyung Hyun and musician/composer Lee Si Ha, The CROSS made sure the crowd left with nothing but their names in mind. With powerful 4 and a half -octave vocals from Kyung Hyun and amazing skills on the guitar by Si Ha .
The CROSS went full force to win the crowd’s heart with lively banter and crowd interaction , not to mention head-banging music!
Two years later, they are BACK with more punch! Debuting in May 2003, The CROSS may not be your typical idol boy band, but they’ve proven they’ve got the talents. Si Ha has won the New Composers Award while Kyung Hyun has been known for his vocal abilities even before debuting with The CROSS.
Their debut single Don’t Cry is still on the Korean charts and remains a KTV favorite choice. Currently recording their 3rd album due for release in June 2007, it will showcase the blending of rock with Korean traditional musical instruments. A harmony between Rock & Classical music, this album will also include an orchestral piece with Si Ha on the piano. Tickets have been sold out for concert tours in Korea from June – August .With that in mind, they are making their way down here for a promotional tour and summer camp to save the marine turtles in August!
The CROSS promotional tour and “Save the Marine Turtles with The CROSS” summer camp is brought to you by Kpop Kingdom together with animal and environmental benefit program 'Animal Harmony ' under Kpop Kingdom. Head over to this exclusive summer getaway to the beaches of Tioman in aid of marine turtle conservation. Funds raised from the camp will be donated to charity in aims of saving our marine turtles. Not only that , The CROSS would also be holding a showcase and fan meeting with an autograph signing session in KL!
