Taiwan's Most Popular Number 1 Singing competition < 超級星光大道 > is going into it's Fifth Season already and the fever has once again hit Singapore shores ! And this time round , to add to all the Drama & Excitement , it's going to be a real Star Studded Affair come next Sunday when the Top 20 Contestants will battle it out for the right to compete in Taiwan with the very Best ! More Good News is that out of the 20 Contestants who had made it into the ultimate battle round , seven of them will be very familiar faces & household names too !
That's right ! For Seven of the Top 20 Finalists are actually from our very own Superstars Competitions - actually six to be exact ( as one is actually from Singapore Idol Fame - U guess who ? ) . The numbers are also quite evenly ' spaced out ' too - for there are actually four from Campus Superstars Competitions , two from Project Superstars Competitions & one from Singapore Idol !
The Seven ' Superstars ' who had made it into the Top 20 Finalists are : Campus Superstar 1 Overall Champion - 黄智阳 Ng Chee Yang , Campus Superstar 2 Runners Up Keely Wee 阮诗凯 , Campus Superstar 3 Runners Up 蔡艾珈 Rachel Chua Ai Jia & Campus Superstar 1 Contestant Geraldine See 史心莹 , while Project Superstars 2 Best Friends - Chen Diya 陈迪雅 & Carrie Yang 杨佳盈 and Sylvester Sim of Singapore Idol Fame made up the Top 20 Spots from our very own ' Superstars ' Section !
They will all do battle at the End of this Month - on the very last Sunday of this Month ( Sunday , 28 June 2009 ) at Leisure Park Kallang for a shot at representing Singapore in Taiwan in this Grand Singing Competition ! Can they make it ? How many will emerge victorious ?
