While we are just two days away from the Biggest TV Awards Event of The Year -《 红星大奖 2010》Star Awards 2010 , and are getting very excited and eagerly anticipating to the five Hours extravenagza LIVE from Resorts World Sentosa this Sunday , here comes another TV Awards that is just as grand , just as big that will get u really very excited and anticipating for it too !
Ever felt that it is a real pity that co - production Drama Serials between Malaysia ntv 7 Channel & Mediacorp TV Channel 8 are not being considered for nomination in our very own annual《红星大奖》? Fret not - for《金视奖》- ' The Golden Awards ' is now here ! And the Good News is , co - production Drama Serials will be allowed for nomination and so are some of our very own Mediacorp Artistes !
《金视奖》' The Golden Awards ' is Malaysia's ntv 7 Channel very own《红星大奖》, it is a grand TV Awards spectacle being held for the very first time this year ! Similar to that of our very own Mediacorp《红星大奖》, nominees will be contesting for the《最佳男主角》Best Actor Award , 《最佳女主角》Best Actress Award , 《最佳男配角》Best Supporting Actor Award ,《最佳女配角》Best Supporting Actress Award , as well as the《最佳主题曲》Best Drama Theme Song Award etc ...
The much awaited first round Nomination Lists of names to some of the above Award Categories had just being announced today and some of our very own Mediacorp Stars scored a double nomination too ! There will be a total of ten Nominees in each Award Categories in the initial Lists of nominees !
- 《最佳电视剧 》- Best Drama Serial Award
Co - Production Drama Serials such as《天使的烙印》- Fallen Angel ,《爱在你左右》- Love Is All Around & 《快乐一家》- Welcome Home , My Love are three of the ten nominated Serials that had made it through the first round judging for the Best Drama Serial Award .
- 《最佳男主角》- Best Actor Award
Robert Zhang ( Zzen Zhang ) 章缜翔 who saw his popularity rose after the success of《小娘惹》The Little Nyonya and《游戏人生》Priceless Wonder where he got his first Male Lead role , has now scored himself a《最佳男主角》Best Actor Nomination in the initial judging stage for his performance in《还我情真》, 陈泓宇 Shaun Chen has also made it through this initial《最佳男主角》Best Actor Nomination List for his performance in《天使的烙印》- Fallen Angel and Malaysia Actor Melvin Sia , now currently seen on the Channel's very own 60's Song & Dance Drama Serial《星光灿烂》Glittering Stars , had earned himself a double initial nomination in this category !
- 《最佳女主角》- Best Actress Award
She is set to leave Mediacorp TV next Month when her contract with the broadcasting company ends , to seek greener pastures in life . But not to worry , 刘芷绚 Jessica Liu fans could very well be seeing her back on the TV Screens very soon , and even with the possibility of receiving a major Acting Award LIVE on TV , thanks to her successfully making it through the initial first round Nomination Lists for her excellent performance in《美食厨师男》Romantic Delicacies , which had just recently ended it's Re - Run on Mediacorp Channel 8 .
蔡佩璇 Cai Pei Xuan has scored herself a Double nomination in the initial first round Nomination Stage for the Best Actress Award《最佳女主角》Category ! Yes ! U have heard me right ! She proved that she is indeed a very capable Actress with a double nomination in the《最佳女主角》Best Actress Category ; one for her outstanding performances in《天使的烙印》- Fallen Angel and the other in《有你终身美丽》- Her Many Faces , the latter Drama Serial has yet to be shown on our local TV Screens .
Other Mediacorp Actress which has earned themselves an initial《最佳女主角》Best Actress Nomination includes : 洪乙心 Apple Hong《爱在你左右》- Love Is All Around , Ong Ai Leng《家在半山芭》- My Kampong Days . Malaysian Actress 杨雁雁 Yeo Yann Yann , a familiar name and face in Jack Neo Movie such as《做人》Being Human was also nominated for her young to old Lead Role in ntv 7 Channel Mega Blockbuster Drama -《女头家》The Iron Lady .
- 《最佳男配角》- Best Supporting Actor Award
Lucky stars seemed to be continuing to shine ever so brightly for 章缜翔 Zzen Chang as he not only was nominated in the Best Actor Award , but he may very well be in the running for the《最佳男配角》Best Supporting Actor Award too come July ! His《最佳男配角》Best Supporting Actor Nomination comes from《家在半山芭》- My Kampong Days , the 30 Episodes Serial was recently shown here on Channel 8 . Like Zzen Zhang 章缜翔 , Melvin Sia could also be competing on both fronts as he was nominated in this category for his performance in《爱在你左右》- Love Is All Around . William San 辛伟廉 , currently seen on the Channel's very own 60's Song & Dance Drama Serial《星光灿烂》 - was nominated for the CNY Themed Drama Serial -《谈谈情, 舞舞狮》Lion Hearts .
- 《最佳新晋演员》- Best Newcomer Award
She may have not been eligible for this Award in this year's《红星大奖 2010》, but she may stand a possible chance of winning for this Award Category in ntv 7《金视奖》! 李美玲 Tracy Lee who will be seen in Mediacorp Idol Drama Serial《游梦琴真》in July after her first Mediacorp Drama《五福到》ended it's run last month will face competition from both singer turned Actor Jeffery Cheng and Henley of Malaysia Project Superstar 2 fame for the《最佳新晋演员》- Best Newcomer Award .
- 《最佳主题曲》- Best Drama Theme Song Award
Having just won the Best Drama Theme Song Award《最佳主题曲》in last Sunday's《红星大奖》, Kelvin Tan 陈伟联 may have another chance to make it a double win in this category , now for the Theme Song he sang for《家在半山芭》- My Kampong Days . Jeffery Cheng's Theme Song has also been nominated as well as Henley Theme Song for《眉飞色舞》entitled《舞势》.
