They have indeed became much more popular because of this Blockbuster Idol Drama Serial ! Yes ! U have heard me right ! Mediacorp Channel 8 Latest Drama Serial to be released on DVD is - < 煮妇的假期 > - Housewives Holiday ! With this release , Housewives Holiday has become the sixth Mediacorp Drama Serial to be made available on DVDs for Sale in recent years !

What a roller coaster ride of a life Jeanette & their fans must have had these past few weeks from the weeks & days leading up to the actual STAR AWARDS night till now ! Just try asking any Jeanette Aw fans around u and u will know how they must have felt these past few weeks ...

Initally , life seemed to be a bed of roses for ' The Little Nyonya ' - 欧萱 Jeanette Aw ... Everything seemed to be going so really well for her that it seemed that she has hit the highest peak of her career that nothing could possibily seem to go wrong for her , nothing could ever stop her to her sudden rise to instant fame , following the huge success the hit TV Blockbuster Drama had generated ....

Jeanette Aw was even viewed not only as the hot favourite but the ultimate & the ' only ' possible choice for the Best Actress Award Title at the Star Awards this year ... After all , many reports ' contributed ' the success of the hit TV Blockbuster Drama < 小娘惹 > - The Little Nyonya down to her improvement shown in the Drama as well as her for being able to portray two very different characters Juxiang & Yueniang so well , which was indeed no easy feat .

Joanne Peh & Chen Li Ping became the two front runners for the coveted Title , and with Jeanette relegated to being the ' dark horse ' following the release of the online poll result ... Although some felt Jeanette eventual loss of the Best Actress Award Title had nothing got to do with this sudden & unexpected release of result at such a crucial & sensitive moment as STAR AWARDS is judged & awarded by a panel of professional judges , ... One can't help but still have the feeling that this Result could more or less have affected her high chance of winning the Best Actress Award Title ...

She was also the ' last ' name to be called up to the stage to receive the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes Award at the Star Awards Ceremony this year , creating some worried faces & sparking some fears among many Jeanette fans that their favourite Idol may not even manage to make it to the Top 10 Most Popular List as well in the process at that point of time ! ...
