Yes ! U have heard me right ! Mediacorp Channel 8 Latest Drama Serial to be released on DVD is - < 煮妇的假期 > - Housewives Holiday ! With this release , Housewives Holiday has become the sixth Mediacorp Drama Serial to be made available on DVDs for Sale in recent years !
It all started with Mediacorp Channel 8 25th Drama Anniversary Serial produced two Years ago back in 2007 , with Mediacorp Channel 8 producing the End Of Year MEGA Blockbuster Drama Serial - < 黄金路 > - The Golden Path and soon had it being released on DVD for Sale after the Serial had ended it's run on TV due to it's great response from viewers ! Then , next came the hit TV Blockbuster Drama last year - < 小娘惹 > The Little Nyonya making it the second MEGA End of Year Blockbuster Drama to be made into DVDs & went on Sale .

The Little Nyonya - < 小娘惹 > was produced in conjunction with Mediacorp Channel 8 45th Anniversary Celebrations ! Subsequently , other popular & well received Drama Serial which receives high TV Viewership Ratings also saw them being made into DVDs as well and being sold in major DVDs Stores islandwide !

< 煮妇的假期 > - Housewives Holiday which tells the Story of three typical Housewives played by Hong Huifang , Ann Kok & Xiang Yun is currently the Highest Rated Local Drama Serial to date so far ! The much pubicised Bikini Scene by Ann Kok also managed to attract 977, 000 viewers to watch that night's Episode !
