Mediacorp Channel 8 Most Successful Blockbuster Drama Serial - The Little Nyonya 小娘惹 is certainly going places ! Shortly after the Serial has just recently ended it's run in Malaysia not too long ago on ASTRO Shuang Xing Channel , now the Serial is heading to Cambodia and is scheduled to be shown on Cambodian Cable TV Channel as soon as next week , according to reports in wikipedia .

And the successful hit TV Series has also even made it to an European country too ! Come end of this Month , The Little Nyonya 小娘惹 will be showcased in France , according to reports in ChannelNewsAsia .

The Peranakan Themed Drama Serial achieved such an overwhelming response such that it achieved the highest TV Ratings for the past 15 Years , smashing numerous records & also was the most nominated Serial in this year's Star Awards ! It was also the first locally made Drama Serial that has successfully made it to overseas markets , with it being exported to many different parts of Asian countries such as Malaysia , Cambodia , Hongkong , China & Vietnam .

Adrian Pang has always given people the impression as a very funny & wacky guy where viewers will often get to see him tell & cracks jokes - be it as a host or even when he acts ! Channel 8 viewers will surely remember Adrian Pang 彭耀顺 in his funny & comedy role in Nanny Daddy - 奶爸百分百 where he starred alongside Yvonne Lim . The new look & Revamped I - Weekly Magazine was launched with much fanfare over the weekend , with two Days of non - stop fun and entertainment in a MEGA Launch Party Roadshow held at Bugis Junction . Not only can the readers get to purchase the New - Look I - Weekly Magazine two Days in advance at the Event itself which came with a goodie bag , but they also get to see many Mediacorp Stars making their appearance at the two Days Launch Party Event !

The ' special ' and main selling point of this new - look I - Weekly Magazine is that now , it comes with an additional magazine but still at the same old price of $2 ! Some people will definitely just can't help but have the feeling that this new move by Mediacorp seems to be a ' copycat ' to their ' rival ' magazine - U Weekly Magazine which was published by SPH . 戴阳天 To Become The New 阿哥 After ' 乒乓圆 ' ?

Before The Little Nyonya 小娘惹 was even shown & as filming of the Serial was taking place , many were saying & even started speculating that Jeanette Aw would become the New Ah Jie because of this Blockbuster Serial , and now after the Serial has ended , she is a very hot favourite to assume the New Ah Jie status after the huge success of the Serial which saw it achieved the highst Viewership for the last 15 years !

And now it looks like Dai Yang Tian 戴阳天 is to follow suit too ... To Be The New 阿哥 after ' 乒乓圆 ' !

• 戴阳天 To be A Big Winner In Star Awards This Year ?

Dai Yang Tian who saw his popularity rise even higher after 小娘惹 , is already a hot favourite for the Best Newcomer Award for this Year's Star Awards to be held later next month . More surprises could well be in store for him as he could possibily be the winner in the other two categories in this year's Star Awards as well too : The Best Supporting Actor 最佳男配角 as well as being nominated in the Top 10 Male Categories !

Considering he has only acted in two Drama Serials so far , ' 乒乓圆' - Table of Glory being only his third , this is certainly a great achievement for him so far and certainly , he still has a long way to go & still a lot to learn in this entertainment industry so as to go even further in his acting career !

The future in his acting career certainly is looking very bright for him , considering what he has managed to achieve so far ! Also considering that his character which he played a young Japanese lad 山本洋介 in The Little Nyonya which lasted only 8 Episodes long , but it has already managed to capture the hearts & minds of many local female fans here , which directly saw him rise to instant fame !

Though his character only lasted 8 Episodes long , this is already enough to make a lasting impression in the minds of many audiences here ! Especially with the Table of Glory Trailer putting it as ' 一场新阿哥角逐战即将展开 ' , it certainly does not do him any harm at all ! If he is really able to put in another good performance in this Table Tennis Drama , who knows how far he can go in his acting career ? ... Perhaps , just maybe , he could be like Jeanette Aw , and become the new 阿哥 after Table of Glory - 乒乓圆 ?
