The ULTIMATE Blockbuster Drama Of The Year Is Just A Fortnight Away !

13 May 2009

Countdown To THE ULTIMATE Blockbuster Drama Of The Year is still continuing & now we are just exactly two weeks away to it's TV Premiere ! It has got to be the most anticipated Drama Serial to hit our TV Screens so far ... at least for the first half of this year !

Besides boosting a star studded cast of Ah Ge 阿哥 Li Nanxing & Tay Ping Hui and Ah Jie 阿姐 Zoe Tay & Fann Wong on the same show , it also has lots of other factors to keep u glued to this 30 Parter MEGA Blockbuster coming your way at the end of this Month !

• < 双天至尊 >重现 ? - ' The Unbeatables ' Revisited !

This must have been a very long time waiting for fans of this classic Mediacorp Drama ! To be exact , it has been seven long years ( since 双天至尊III ended in 2002 ) that viewers get to see Li Nanxing step into the casino & sitting on the gambling table & displaying his wonderful poker card tricks , a trademark so distinctively still etched in many viewers mind in that Classic Drama Serial which spun three Sequels ! And thus , earning him the nickname ' 赌王 ' - The God Of Gamblers !

Though here in < 双子星> - The ULTIMATUM , it may not be exactly an exact replica of < 双天至尊 > , but viewers will still be able to catch Li Nanxing reprise his role of ' 赌王 ' - The God Of Gamblers & seeing him meddling with poker cards & all things associated with gambling in casino scenes !

Not only will u be able to see Li Nanxing in the casino , Zoe Tay will also be present too , but she will not have anything got to do with gambling this time round though , but this will already be just enough for fans of < 双天至尊> to feel excited & get all crazy about this upcoming Blockbuster Drama Serial !

• Mistaken Identity PLUS Lies & Untold Secrets !

Or in this case , it should be a swop of identities between two families ! Zoe Tay & Fann Wong grew up in an entirely different families with two entirely contrasting family backgrounds ! When the truth was finally revealed , all hell will soon break loose as there are many plots & attempts to seek revenge & power ...

• Zoe Tay As A Villian AGAIN !

This is the second time that Zoe Tay has played a villian for the aim of revenge & power quite similar to the character she played some 12 years ago in 1997 in ' Rising Expectations ' < 长河 >, where she also played a villian as scheming as her current role in < 双子星 > . Interestingly though , the trio , Zoe Tay , Li Nanxing & Benedict Goh who were in this Upcoming Blockbuster < 双子星 > , were also in that same Series twelve years ago !

• Plots Of Revenge & Power !

A fierce battle between the two Ah Jie 阿姐 Zoe Tay & Fann Wong is inevitable as the hidden truth is finally revealed ! How ' low ' will Zoe Tay go this time round in her quest for revenge & power ? All hell breaks loose as friends becomes foes , and lives of both parties will be turned upside down never to be the same again !

• Equally Dangerous Stunts !

In 2009 - < 双子星 > - The ULTIMATUM

Li Nanxing had to jump off the harbour and hung on to a rope as the yacht dragged him in the water.

In 1997 - Rising Expectations < 长河 >
Zoe did an equally tough & dangerous stunt 12 years ago ! A car that she was in was picked up by a crane and dropped into the sea. As she sank towards the bottom, divers were on standby to save her !

• The ' 花木兰 ' Mulan Factor ...

U all know about this famous Chinese warrior who disguises herself as a man to fight in the war so as to defend the country .... Here in the Blockbuster Drama - < 双子星 > The ULTIMATUM , we also have our very own ' 花木兰 ' in the form of Felicia Chin !

Felicia Chin plays the role of a girl who is obsessed with gambling but had to disguise herself as a guy in order to learn the great gambling skills from the God Of Gamblers ' 赌王 ' - played by Li Nanxing as she finds out that he does not take in Female disciple ...

With so many such interesting Factors awaiting u in this MEGA Blockbuster , this is surely a MUST Watch Serial of The Year !

欧萱 Jeanette Aw Only Hope Rests On End of Year Blockbuster !

11 May 2009

After the high generated from < 小娘惹 > - The Little Nyonya last year , it could & may just be a year of lows for 欧萱 Jeanette Aw & their fans this year ! What a roller coaster ride of a life Jeanette & their fans must have had these past few weeks from the weeks & days leading up to the actual STAR AWARDS night till now ! Just try asking any Jeanette Aw fans around u and u will know how they must have felt these past few weeks ...

Initally , life seemed to be a bed of roses for ' The Little Nyonya ' - 欧萱 Jeanette Aw ... Everything seemed to be going so really well for her that it seemed that she has hit the highest peak of her career that nothing could possibily seem to go wrong for her , nothing could ever stop her to her sudden rise to instant fame , following the huge success the hit TV Blockbuster Drama had generated ....

Jeanette Aw was even viewed not only as the hot favourite but the ultimate & the ' only ' possible choice for the Best Actress Award Title at the Star Awards this year ... After all , many reports ' contributed ' the success of the hit TV Blockbuster Drama < 小娘惹 > - The Little Nyonya down to her improvement shown in the Drama as well as her for being able to portray two very different characters Juxiang & Yueniang so well , which was indeed no easy feat .

So , there she was hailed as the hot favourite for the Best Actress Title ... so much so that as though the throphy has already had her name engraved on it - ( just without the Official Presentation of the Throphy to her only ) - That was certainly NOT a one sided mindset or thought coming out from ' Jeanius ' - ( as Jeanette Aw Fan Club are known ) , but the majority of those who had watched the Series also shared the same sentiments too ...

Just when she looked to be every bit the Winner for the Best Actress Award Title , heaven & possibly fate had to play a cruel joke on her ! Just one day before the actual STAR AWARDS Ceremony , news broke that she actually came out tops & was voted as ' 最烂女主角 ' in an online Poll Contest organised by omy. sg & thus with it the whole situation soon changed .

http://mysteryblogger-justsayit.blogspot.com/2009/04/jeanette-aw-has-kissed-best-actress.html

Joanne Peh & Chen Li Ping became the two front runners for the coveted Title , and with Jeanette relegated to being the ' dark horse ' following the release of the online poll result ... Although some felt Jeanette eventual loss of the Best Actress Award Title had nothing got to do with this sudden & unexpected release of result at such a crucial & sensitive moment as STAR AWARDS is judged & awarded by a panel of professional judges , ... One can't help but still have the feeling that this Result could more or less have affected her high chance of winning the Best Actress Award Title ...

She was also the ' last ' name to be called up to the stage to receive the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes Award at the Star Awards Ceremony this year , creating some worried faces & sparking some fears among many Jeanette fans that their favourite Idol may not even manage to make it to the Top 10 Most Popular List as well in the process at that point of time ! ...

Now as Jeanette & her fans attempt to put behind all the disappointments of the STAR AWARDS Best Actress Award loss & are getting all ready to see her making an appearance at the Perakankan Ball Musical this Saturday , they are now worrying about another situation & from the looks of it now, their worst fears seemed to be confirmed ...

That Jeanette Aw could possibily not be having any Drama Serial at all to show for this whole year ! Her only hope though now rests entirely on the End Of Year Blockbuster Drama which the castings of the Drama had not been finalised yet .. ( with the result expected to be announced within these two weeks ! )

Initally we also ran a Special Report on how Jeanette seemed to be a ' definite choice ' to play a Part in the End Of Year MEGA Drama , but now it seemed that nothing really is for certain !

http://mysteryblogger-justsayit.blogspot.com/2009/04/12-april-2009-price-to-pay-for-being.html

While it may seem totally unbelievable & and it may well come as a total shock of a news that if the worst does turns out to be true in the end & that Jeanette really has no New Drama to show at all for this whole year , the likely ' repercussion ' of this would be that she would not be able to contest for the Best Actress or the Best Supporting Actress Award in next year 's STAR AWARDS , but she could still , however be in the running for the Top 10 Most Popular Artistes Award though ... ( cos the latter is chosen by votes & polls conducted ) ...

So between now till the day of release of results when the Casting for the Year End Blockbuster Drama is announced , Jeanette fans had better keep your fingers crossed & pray hard that your favourite Idol is in ...

For it does NOT necessary mean that Jeanette has not been casted in any Upcoming New Drama Serial yet , so she should definitely be included for the BIG One at the end of the year ... Previously , it may & could possibily be the case , but now , seeing what has happened to Jeanette Aw at the Star Awards Ceremony last month ( as mentioned above ) , one can't help but feel that really " nothing is for certain & Anything ... Yes , anything could just happen ...

And U have been warned should the results really does turn out to be true ...
