With《星洲之夜》- A Song To Remember , Mediacorp Channel 8 End of Year Blockbuster Drama which was initially scheduled for broadcast end of this year being postponed to next year ,《星光灿烂》Glittering Stars , a 25 Episodes Drama co-produced by Malaysia ntv 7 Channel & Mediacorp TV will now more than made up for that loss and disappointment to Singapore TV Viewers here and will instead serve as some sort of a prelude as to what can be expected from the highly anticipated Mediacorp very own Mega Blockbuster Drama come end of next year !
It doesn't help matters with the Titles of both Dramas sounding almost identical , neither does it help matters either with an almost similar storyline and plot , that is : with the songs and dances from the 60s as the main attraction of the story ... Viewers can also expect to see lots of singing and dancing performances on stage from both Dramas !
参与这部即将在ntv7播映以歌舞团生活点滴为故事背景的全新电视剧《星光灿烂》的演员，包括了来自新加坡的陈靓瑄 ( Felicia Chin ) , Malaysian Singer and Actor 辛威廉 ( William San ) , 庄惟翔 Jeffrey Cheng , 和巫恩仪等多位演员。
故事围绕“大红花”歌舞团，众演员们在剧里都要唱歌与跳舞。除了歌舞团的生活点滴，剧里男女之间的感情线也是剧情里倍受注目的其中一环。《星光灿烂》以五、六十年代的经典名曲为剧里主要曲目。为了让《星光灿烂》演得更为生动，众演员都被安排去上音乐及音乐课，一切为了带给观众们载歌载舞的精彩画面 !
