Fancy seeing some new faces up on stage receiving their very first Star Awards throphy this year ? And u could very well have a hand to that happening in next Month's Star Awards Ceremony too ! Thanks to the three brand new Awards being introduced for this year's Awards , these new faces will now have a real shot at Star Awards glory come next month's TV annual Biggest Showpiece Event ! China born Actress 周颖 Kola Zhou , Campus Superstar 1 Winner 曾詠霖 Teresa Tseng , Channel U Telemovie Lead Actress 陈欣淇 Julie Tan , as well as 洪赐健 Joshua Ang are just some of the new faces with a very real possible chance of having a Star Awards throphy to their name in this year's Awards !

In just the Sports Themed Idol Drama《乒乓圆》- Table of Glory alone , there are already three first time nominees in this year's Star Awards ! Campus Superstar 1 Winner 曾詠霖 Teresa Tseng , '乒乓美少女 ' ( Babe of Table Tennis ) 巫恩仪 Wu En Yi and China born Actress Kola Zhou 周颖 - all nominees for the《最喜爱女角色》- Favourite Female Character Award !
A very worthy point of note is that both 巫恩仪 and 周颖 Kola Zhou may only be acting in Mediacorp Channel 8 Productions for the very first time last year and they have already being nominated in this year's Star Awards , and with the possible chance of winning their very first Award here too ! The latter even has a dual nomination to her name too ! The second nomination coming from her role as a lawyer ( Qin Huimin) in last year's End of Year Blockbuster Drama - 《当我们同在一起》 TOGETHER . So 周颖 Kola Zhou has been nominated for both of her roles in the two Mediacorp productions that she was involved in last year !
Julie Tan 陈欣淇 recently seen in Channel U's very own Local Blockbuster Drama《魔幻视界》- The Illusionist as Ting - Meixin (Ming's sister ) in the 13 Part Series which just ended it's run last night , had made people start to sit up and take real notice of her from the Channel's very own Telemovie -《向日葵的约定》The Promise shown earlier this year where she was now being nominated for her lovable and cute character 李姗姗 in the《最喜爱女角色》- Favourite Female Character Award .

Making the switch from the big screens to the goggle box has also earned 洪赐健 Joshua Ang a possible shot at Star Awards Glory ! His role as 何胜武 in that same Idol Drama Serial was being nominated in the Favourite Male Character -《最喜爱男角色》Award !
