小娘惹 CNY Specials On TV !

What has 小娘惹 - The Little Nyonya got to do with Chinese New Year , u wonder ? Not much , unless u are a Nyonya fan ... Not really , unless and if your show is THE Number 1 Show for the Last 15 years , then everywhere u go , everywhere u see or hear will be practially about the hottest show in town , even when it is already over , even when it is Chinese New Year !

As a way of saying Thank You to it's supporters & fans for showing huge amount of time and support to the Mega hit Drama , Channel 8 has specially produced a one hour - The Little Nyonya Reunion CNY Special where the casts ( in their costumes ) and the crew will all come together for an interview session with host Desmond Koh to share the many untold details & juicy moments while filming the Series .

It will be shown on Day 1 of Chinese New Year - 26 January 2009 7pm to 8pm on Channel 8 !

• Little Nyonya Makes It's Way To Malaysia ....

Two days later , The Little Nyonya 小娘惹 will make it's way across the causeway to Malaysia .... This will be the first of many mini ' World Tour ' that this Series will be making it's rounds out of Singapore local entertainment industry / territory to many different Asian countries ! The first Leg of this ' Mini World Tour ' will be Malaysia . With the Series set to make it's Debut in Malaysia , it is expected to spark off another wave of Nyonya craze and fever , this time in Malaysia .... And the TV ratings is also expected to soar .....


* Catch the ' magic ' of The Little Nyonya unfold once again on Malaysia's ASTRO ' Shuang Xing Channel starting from Wednesday , 28 January 2009 onwards - Mondays to Thursdays at 4.30pm . Encore Telecast on the same night at 8.30pm . *

• Revive The Nyonya Fever on Channel 8 With 娘惹香 2 ...

The Little Nyonya may well be over on Channel 8 , but u can still get to learn more about the different types of Nyonya food & more of the Nyonya culture in a specially produced food show about Nyonyas which will be into it's second Season come next Monday .

* Nyonya Foodie 娘惹香 hosted by Michelle Chia together with a ' Little Nyonya ' will make it's Debut on next Monday onwards - 2 Feb 2009 every Mondays at 8.30pm ! *

• The Little Nyonya 小娘惹 ' Meet The Fans Session ....

Then as if this is still not enough , there will be a Final - ' The Little Nyonya ' Meet The Fans Session ' this Saturday - 31 January 2009 at Suntec City at 3pm . The cast of this Mega hit Series will be in costumes to meet their fans and to Thank u for supporting and making the Series such a huge success as it is ... The Number 1 Top Show for the last 15 Years achieving such an unpreccented feat and creating a wave of Nyonya craze and fever never seen before for a long time in local Drama history ...

A major huge crowd is expected to throng & pack the Suntec City Atrium full to it's brim again just like the last outdoor Event held at Compass Point last year , when the tiles of the floor even cracked under the pressure !
