This Sports Themed Hit Idol Drama Serial couldn't have make a quick return to our TV Screens at a much better and appopriate time than this , especially with Singaporeans & sports fanatics are now so excited and so deeply engrossed into this Sport , all THANKS to the the Team Singapore paddlers for doing so well in the Sea Games currently being held in Vietianne , Laos . Already , we have seen not one , but TWO all Singapore Finals in the Mixed Doubles Team Event where Wang Zi & Wang Yuegu defeated compariot Feng Tianwei & Gao Ning to clinch the GOLD Medal yesterday evening , with Tianwei & Gao Ning winning Silver .
And today , another GOLD Medal have already been assured even before a Match is being played where another two Sets of Singaporean paddlers will do battle in another all Singapore Final in the Women's Doubles Final . Table Tennis atmosphere is expected to reach fever high when this 20 Episodes Idol Drama Serial makes a return to our TV Screens Beginning this Weekend onwards !
With such a star studded line up of Casts in this Sports Themed Idol Drama : 戴阳天 Dai Yang Tian , 洪赐健 Joshua Ang from Jack Neo Movie - I Not Stupid Fame , Campus Superstar 1 Female Winner 曾詠霖 Teresa Tseng , Hosts 郭亮 Guo Liang & 锺琴 Kym Ng , as well as popular Artistes 唐育书 Alan Tern , 宋怡霏 Constance Song , veterans such as 郑各评 Zheng Ge Ping , 陈泰铭 Rayston Tan etc ... Not forgetting 周颖 Kola Zhou too - It was THIS very particular Drama Serial that shot her to instant popularity and fame - only her very first appearance in a Local Mediacorp Channel 8 Drama Serial !
So , it was no real surprise that this Idol Drama turned out to be such a massive TV hit on the first half of this year as right after the Serial had ended it's run on TV end of April this year , there were numerous calls and requests on the Drama Official Facebook Page as well as on Mediacorp TV Forums for a Sequel ! The Drama attracted such a huge following , especially on the last Episode night alone , to see this 20 Episode Idol Drama came in as the Third most watched Drama on the first half of this year , even beating the Mid Year Blockbuster The ULTIMATUM - < 双子星 > which boosts Ah Jie 郑惠玉 Zoe Tay , 范文芳 Fann Wong , Ah Ge 李南星 Li Nanxing , 郑斌辉 Tay Ping Hui and Princess Felicia Chin among it's casts !
Also , as this Drama was so well received by the viewers , it was even produced in VCDs as well to be sold in leading VCDs stores islandwide ! Now this Idol Drama is set to make a quick return back onto our TV Screens just seven months after it had ended it's run at the end of April !
