< 小娘惹 > - ' The Little Nyonya ' To Make A Much Earlier Return To Our TV Screens Than Initially Expected ?

Mediacorp Channel 8 most successful Local Drama Serial to date - < 小娘惹 > ' The Little Nyonya ' could be back on our TV Screens much earlier rather than later this year as initially expected ! According to the ' pattern ' at which the Lists of Year 2008 Drama Serials were being scheduled for Re - Run at the Weekend 4.30pm Timeslot , initially , it was expected that the Drama Serial which achieved the highest TV Viewership Figures for the last 15 Years would be re - run in November this year , but now it seems that TV Viewers may well get to see the record smashing MEGA Blockbuster Drama Serial as early as next Month instead !

According to the Lists of Year 2008 Primetime 9pm Drama Serials , only two Drama Serials have not being repeated as yet . < 奶爸百分百 > - Nanny Daddy is currently being Re - Run on Weekends - Saturdays & Sundays at 4.30pm and the Drama right after it - < 叮当神探 > Crimebusters x2 has been scheduled for a Weekday Mondays to Fridays 11pm Re - Run Beginning next Tuesday ( 4 August 2009 ) onwards ! This being the case , only < 不凡的爱 > - ' By My Side ' - the Drama Serial that won Chen Hanwei the Best Actor Award in this Year's Star Awards Ceremony as an Aids patient with Ah Jie Zoe Tay as his wife in the tearjacker 20 Episodes Drama Serial and < 小娘惹 > - ' The Little Nyonya ' are the only two Drama Serials left from last year yet to be repeated .

Initially it was earlier expected that after the 20 Episodes < 奶爸百分百 > - Nanny Daddy had ended it's Re - Run in Mid September , the Drama that comes after it should be < 叮当神探 > - Crimebusters x2 , but now following a ' sudden change ' in the ' pattern ' , it now seems very highly likely that < 小娘惹 > - ' The Little Nyonya ' could be slated for an earlier return to our TV Screens at the Weekdays 11pm Timeslot after < 叮当神探 > - Crimebusters x2 ends it's Re - Run in mid September !

This possibility now seems all the more likely and was further ' enhanced ' by the fact that after many felt that a Drama Serial which bagged the most number of Awards in this year's Star Awards and being so well received not only here in Singapore , but also similarly as popular across Asia and in many other parts of the World , to be scheduled for a Re - Run at this Timeslot would be a much more appropriate Timing than on Weekends at 4.30pm !

As for < 不凡的爱 > - By My Side , it is believed that it will take the place of < 奶爸百分百 > - ' Nanny Daddy ' after the Serial ends its Re - Run next Month at the Weekends Saturdays & Sundays 4.30pm afternoon Timeslot .
