Jacky is sexually deviant and has the habit of pulling a pair of stockings over his partner during sex. He tries to do the same to Tingting. Xiaofei arrives suddenly and beats the daylight out of Jacky. He takes Tingting away.


Episode 4 ( Tuesday , 1 Sept 2009 ) :

Jialing has no interest in studies and wants to earn big bucks by becoming a karaoke lounge hostess. In an attempt to turn her life around, Jiahui tells her about their family's sad past -Their fahter, Dongqing, had abandoned them when they were very young, leaving their cancer-stricken mother to raise them.


Episode 5 ( Wednesday , 2 Sept 2009 ) :

Jiahui is taken aback by what Xiaofei said and tries to shrug it off. Sensing that their relationship has taken an uneasy turn, Xiaofei later claims he is not serious about what he said. Jiahui is relieved.


Episode 6 Synopsis ( Thursday , 3 Sept 2009 ) :

Jiahui comes to her senses and turns the yacht back for Tingting. Tingting is puzzled when Jiahui becomes very hostile towards her. Dongqing tells Jiahui to stay away from Tingting. Lilian slaps Jialing when she goes to look for her father.


Episode 7 ( Friday , 4 Sept 2009 ) :

Jiahui's truck stalls and Xiaofei helps to push the vehicle. Shi Tou finally rings up after more than a week at sea. Xiaofei is upset when Jiahui tells Shi Tou that she will wait forever for his return. He cheers up after a talk with Tingting.

After having it being shown first in Malaysia and Cambodiea , now their third stop in Asia - China has also similarily achieved high viewership too when the 2008 MEDIACORP Channel 8 MEGA Blockbuster Drama Serial was being shown there , receiving great reviews from TV viewers over there .

新加坡新传媒集团2008年倾力打造的台庆大戏《小娘惹》，已经在8月7日晚上在上海SMG电视剧频道隆重首播。

新加坡版“大长今”引发收视热潮——记者昨天获悉，刚在SMG电视剧频道“530剧场”开始中国内地首播的新加坡电视剧《小娘惹》，以近4.0的收视率创该剧场近期收视新高，这也让SMG影视剧中心“有些意外和惊喜”。尽管与韩剧《大长今》的故事颇为相似，但独树一帜的“娘惹文化”令该剧创下“新剧”近年来在中国内地的收视新高。这也让新加坡出品方新传媒颇为兴奋，相关负责人表示：“希望这部作品能够让‘新剧’在中国内地收复失地！”

刚在SMG电视剧频道“530剧场”展开中国内地首播的新加坡电视剧《小娘惹》，以近4.0的收视率创造了该剧场近期收视新高。尽管与韩剧《大长今》的故事颇为相似，但独树一帜的“娘惹文化”依旧龄该剧创下了“新剧”近年来在中国内地的收视新高

尽管开播前几乎没有做过大规模的宣传，但是，《小娘惹》一剧自上周登陆SMG电视剧频道“530剧场”后，很快就受到了沪上百姓了关注。SMG影视剧中心相关负责人介绍称，该剧的收视率基本都超过了3.0，大结局甚至逼近4.0，创下了该剧场近几个月的收视新高。

“虽然 《喜临门》 、《钻石情缘》 和 《小孩不笨》 等作品近期陆续在中国内地播出，但‘新剧’近年来一直未能形成韩剧那样的热潮。所以，《小娘惹》此次在上海 的首播能有这样收视表现，的确让我们有些喜出望外！”不过，欣喜之余，新传媒方面的负责人也表示，由于受限于“引进剧”的身份，“新剧”无法进入黄金档播出，因此要真正征服中国内地观众，恐怕还需要相当长的时间也慢慢培育观众。“不过，目前新加坡电视业正在筹备重拍《天涯同命鸟》等剧，希望通过这样的经典重拍剧，唤回中国内地观众对‘新剧’的旧情。要知道，《天》剧当年在中国播出时，也是盛况空前的，35岁以上的中国观众应该都知道这部剧的。”

Mediacorp Channel 8 most successful Local Drama Serial to date - < 小娘惹 > ' The Little Nyonya ' could be back on our TV Screens much earlier rather than later this year as initially expected ! According to the ' pattern ' at which the Lists of Year 2008 Drama Serials were being scheduled for Re - Run at the Weekend 4.30pm Timeslot , initially , it was expected that the Drama Serial which achieved the highest TV Viewership Figures for the last 15 Years would be re - run in November this year , but now it seems that TV Viewers may well get to see the record smashing MEGA Blockbuster Drama Serial as early as next Month instead !

According to the Lists of Year 2008 Primetime 9pm Drama Serials , only two Drama Serials have not being repeated as yet . < 奶爸百分百 > - Nanny Daddy is currently being Re - Run on Weekends - Saturdays & Sundays at 4.30pm and the Drama right after it - < 叮当神探 > Crimebusters x2 has been scheduled for a Weekday Mondays to Fridays 11pm Re - Run Beginning next Tuesday ( 4 August 2009 ) onwards ! This being the case , only < 不凡的爱 > - ' By My Side ' - the Drama Serial that won Chen Hanwei the Best Actor Award in this Year's Star Awards Ceremony as an Aids patient with Ah Jie Zoe Tay as his wife in the tearjacker 20 Episodes Drama Serial and < 小娘惹 > - ' The Little Nyonya ' are the only two Drama Serials left from last year yet to be repeated .

Initially it was earlier expected that after the 20 Episodes < 奶爸百分百 > - Nanny Daddy had ended it's Re - Run in Mid September , the Drama that comes after it should be < 叮当神探 > - Crimebusters x2 , but now following a ' sudden change ' in the ' pattern ' , it now seems very highly likely that < 小娘惹 > - ' The Little Nyonya ' could be slated for an earlier return to our TV Screens at the Weekdays 11pm Timeslot after < 叮当神探 > - Crimebusters x2 ends it's Re - Run in mid September !

This possibility now seems all the more likely and was further ' enhanced ' by the fact that after many felt that a Drama Serial which bagged the most number of Awards in this year's Star Awards and being so well received not only here in Singapore , but also similarly as popular across Asia and in many other parts of the World , to be scheduled for a Re - Run at this Timeslot would be a much more appropriate Timing than on Weekends at 4.30pm !

As for < 不凡的爱 > - By My Side , it is believed that it will take the place of < 奶爸百分百 > - ' Nanny Daddy ' after the Serial ends its Re - Run next Month at the Weekends Saturdays & Sundays 4.30pm afternoon Timeslot .
